<\/a>Deborah Nelson and Jeff Boyd are avid cyclists who enjoy spending time on the Olympic Discovery Trail<\/strong> in Sequim and Port Angeles.\u00a0 They are also proud to represent people in wheelchairs in claims involving the failure of big box stores to fully comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) to make their businesses accessible for those in wheelchairs. Nelson Boyd’s work on these cases has forced many large corporations to fix the access to their businesses so everyone can shop there.<\/div>\n

Ian Mackay<\/a> is a local hero on the Olympic Discovery Trail, traveling thousands of miles on the trail each year in his motorized wheelchair.\u00a0 On August 13th<\/span><\/span>, he embarks on “Ian’s Ride – Rolling Across Washington,” riding his motorized wheelchair from Anacortes to Vancouver, WA to bring awareness to accessibility issues<\/strong> in Washington and the need for more accessible paths and trails.\u00a0 Ian and his ride embody everything we admire – courage, determination, adventure, and making a difference in the lives of others.<\/strong><\/div>\n
