In all likelihood, your insurance policy requires you to notify your insurance company about any kind of collision that’s happened. That’s different than having to speak to the other driver’s insurance company. If you’ve been injured through the fault of somebody else, you don’t want to talk to them even though you will have to talk to your insurance company.
