Motorcycle Accident Attorneys

Motorcycles! Is there anything better than riding a beautiful motorcycle through the mountains or across the desert on a hot summer day? The feel, the sound, the sense of being connected to the world – you can’t beat it! And yet, when you ride a motorcycle you are at greater risk of being injured than when you are in a car. It’s not fair – car/motorcycle wrecks are almost always the car’s fault, but it happens – way more often than it should.

First, protect yourself with adequate insurance. The last thing you need as you are recovering from a wreck is the worry of bill collectors and bankruptcy. There are a lot of good insurance companies and good insurance agents out there. Some know motorcycles and some don’t. Find one that does. Several companies are going out of their way to attract motorcycles owners as customers. Talk to several agents. See if they know what you are talking about when it comes to the special needs of bike owners and riders. Make sure that you buy not only “liability” insurance coverage, but also underinsured motorist insurance (“UIM”) and Personal Injury Protection insurance (“PIP”).  Unfortunately, many insurers refuse to sell PIP insurance to motorcyclists because of the increased risk, so if you can’t purchase PIP insurance, make sure you have health insurance!

Second, if disaster does strike, Jeff is an experienced motorcycle rider who rode his motorcycle round-trip from Ohio to California. For over 30 years, Jeff has successfully represented many, many bikers in settlements and in trials. He has done many focus groups to learn the special concerns that jurors have with motorcycles, and how to meet those concerns. He knows what needs to be done to get you what you deserve.

If you don’t take care of yourself, no one else will take care of you. Ride to live and live to ride – without the worries of what will happen if you have a bad day.
